Diagnostic Assessments
Diagnostic Assessments include comprehensive testing of your child, direct observation from multiple professionals, and extensive interviews with parents, caregivers, and teachers. Diagnostic evaluations include the ADOS, ADI-R, IQ testing, social skills, developmental and behavioral assessment, observation in home, school or community, and interviews with collateral contacts.

Social Skills Groups
Topics include: Social greetings, making friends, understanding non-verbal communication, conversation skills, and expressing emotions all through the use of role play and fun activities.
Coping Skills and Emotion Management Groups
Topics include: Expressing and understanding feelings and specific coping skills to better deal with emotions.
Adult Support Groups for People with Asperger’s
Family Therapy
Autism affects not only the diagnosed child but also the entire family. Dr. Dumke specializes in therapy for the family to help address the challenges related to raising a special needs child. Dr. Dumke also specializes in general family therapy, sibling therapy, and parent-child therapy.
Parent Consultation
Parent consultation and education is a critical piece of the therapeutic process for children. The purpose is to provide skills training, information, guidance, and support for parents as part of the therapeutic process.
Public Speaking
Dr. Dumke is available for public speaking on topics such as Autism and Asperger’s Disorder, behavioral interventions, parenting skills, toilet training, the use of pictures schedules and picture exchange communication system (PECS), managing transitions, puberty, safety skills, daily living skills, and reducing tantrum behavior in the classroom and at home.
